Evolve Eco Crew is an idea that has existed since 29th March 2023, a day after the Kenyan president launched the Nairobi Rivers Commission, an initiative to restore the lost glory of its capital Nairobi. Since its formation Evolve Eco Crew has embarked on projects of restoring 1.5km part of Nairobi river at Mukuru kwa Reuben slums in Nairobi which involves cleaning expertise, tree planting along the river bank, civic education and advocacy for a clean and healthy environment. The initiative is already adding value to the this part of Nairobi river as involves the youths from Mukuru in its projects, this has been a form of employment creation and distribution of knowledge. The river has gained its natural form at this part of the flow and the residents have learnt top keep their environment clean. Evolve Eco Crew is proud to be part of them
